About Fort Fluffy Butt

Fort Fluffy Butt is a privately run backyard chicken rescue focused on saving chickens in need and sharing their daily lives with the world.

We no longer hatch or purchase chickens. Every bird here has come to us because they needed a safe place, proper care, and time to heal.

Fort Fluffy Butt got it's name after we made extensive changes to our coop to protect our chickens. Fort Fluffy Butt is 100% enclosed at almost 1,000 square feet and 6 feet tall all around. The entire perimeter is surrounded by electric fencing both on top to keep things from climbing in and on the bottom to keep things from climbing through or below. It is complete with 4 cameras that alert if movement is detected inside at night. After we finished we looked at our insane chicken coop/run and decided it needed a name and Fort Fluffy Butt was born.

Through live coop cams, short-form videos, and weekly spotlights, we aim to educate, build connection, and show just how special these often overlooked birds really are.
